Class of 2027

Today we we treated to a workshop run by The Dogs Trust. We learnt all about how to be a best friend to a dog - we all definitely learnt something new about dog behaviour and we all made a promise to be the best friend a dog can get!

Cranesbill have had a wonderful World Book Day 2024, celebrating our love of reading by dressing up as a variety of characters from our favourite books, alongside creating some fantastic WBD bunting and sharing books with friends.

Year 3 have had a wonderful day kickstarting or Ancient Greek day with a wonderful followed by an acting workshop where the children visited an Ancient Greek market. The children loved this experience and were absolutely fantastic and getting into different roles.

On Thursday, Years 3 and 4 took part in an interactive concert. They were introduced to a range of different musical genres and instruments, and they had opportunities to get involved in the concert itself through song. 

During Safer Internet Week, Year 3 thought about their online footprint. Y3 engaged in some meaningful and thoughtful discussions about what they could do to be a positive influence online. 

Year 3 had a super fun day learning all about cave art. We used charcoal for our outlines and made our own paint using different spices. We made our own individual pieces and a whole class piece which showed modern day items in the style of cave art.
